Long Cold weekend but lots of good things.

This weekend started with a few custom orders one of which was for a grumpy cat pendant.  I like the idea so much I made more. these are listed in my shop now you know how to find it if you want to.  I love grumpy cat and the general all no response.  I hope this makes you smile.
This is one of my newest works Monster Ball.  I love creating these things with paper mache clay.  This one is also up in the shop.  There is something very freeing about making whatever your heart desires.  I may not sell as much as I would like but more and more I love what I create so that settles it in my brain.

This last photo is of my backyard.  Yeah fuck you too spring.  In any case I hope this made you all laugh or maybe ooh and ahh.  As always you can find these items in my Etsy shop.

The Ursula Necklace

So this weekend is pretty much a blur of painting and crafting actually the last few weeks have been.  I have been told to just stick with it because there will come a time I will feel a lack of creative energy.  So far those times have been few and far between.  Right now I feel like I just don't have enough time in the world to make all the things I would like to.  It does not even matter to me if I am selling much or not I simply feel a urgency to create all the things.
So I am heading back off to have a day off with the husband and then back to the creating fest.
Lots of love this Monday
ps.  If you want this necklace you can nab it here

Published a Art book yay

So the last month or so I have been working on this little project in my spare time.  It was suggested to me I should do a small art book and see how it hits the market.  Being the ham that I am I of course thought this would be fun.  So I went onto blurb and started working.  Then I published it and now I am selling it.  It is just a little self published book but like the cover there is some work in there I have not sold and some of the ones folks call their favorites.  If you would like to own a copy you can get it in paper here you can get it for download here  either way I hope you guys enjoy it and thanks for taking the time to read this.

Oh Happy Day

It has been to long since I cam on here and chatted.  The last week or so has been very busy I am publishing my own little art book.  That's right kids my fuckers in a self published book so no editors means I pretty much ramble like I do here except in a book.  The last week has been really good working with paper mache that I love.  Those things will be coming out soon.  Painting and working on some other writing projects.  Realized I never really run out of things I want to make so I am going to make that my goal to make all the things till there is nothing else I want to make.  Then I will make sleep.  love

I love happy reminders

So yesterday I made this and I really like it and thought hey I want to make some kind of print with then I made the image below from it.  Now no this is not the best thing since wonder bread but it is a neat way to do a print.  What really made me happy was I started to remember hey I was no expert but I used to make some really fun prints.  So today I want to remind us all to do something we may not be the best at but that we enjoy.  Also if you love the original work and would like to own it here is a link. You all be sure to enjoy your day.  Myself I am off to make a clay monster.

The Artist Soul Known as Sara Lynch

So every blue moon I like to bring you all some kind of fantastic artist or crafter.  This time I am bringing you Sara Lynch.  She creates in most every medium you can think of.  These are a few of my favorites.  The above is her Capybara planter.  It has a warmth and style you just don't find all over the place.
The reason I call her an artist soul is this.  Having the privilege of following her work and even owning a pair of salt and pepper shakers I have gotten to hear of many many hours spent creating.  She lives her life in a way I feel feed and breeds creativity.  Just having a little bit of her work around helps to do the same from my view. Here Jewelry is all kinds of fun and unique.  These scream spring to me.

Then when I see her paintings and the details and life I am always left just amazed.  This one looks almost like it has fire running in it.  When you can go from that to Grumpy cat there is just nothing better.  So here is my suggestion if you want something really crafted by one of those folks who devotes their life to make and creating beautiful things try one of her shops.

No I was not paid to say this I just love to share fellow artisans who inspire me.  You can find Sara in her shops on Etsy. and
and her own personal website

A Weekend of Baby bats and glow in the dark sperm

Hoping everyone had a lovely weekend.  Mine was spent sick but I got some work done anyway.  This little bat painting inspired by my immense love of bats.  They are adorable and very helpful eating insects and such.
The rest of the weekend was spent napping and working in clay on making some glow in the dark sperm for a project I am doing.  So what did you do this weekend.  Also if you love the bats you can buy them here.
